Glow Up Games is a games and creative technology studio building the future of interactive entertainment. Founded by Mitu Khandaker, Tara Mustapha, and Latoya Peterson, the studio produces beautifully crafted stories through games, mobile, AI, AR/VR and other emerging technologies. For diverse audiences, we create new worlds of possibility.

Glow Up Games is powered by the belief that the games and entertainment industry frequently forget about the power of stories just outside of the mainstream. The three founders have spent more than a decade individually shaping entertainment through innovative applications of technology and distinctive storytelling. By combining talents, they seek to advance the industry by centering overlooked voices and leveraging new technologies to craft more powerful experiences.

Dr. Mitu Khandaker
Chief Executive Officer

A seasoned entrepreneur, game designer, and programmer named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit in 2013, and a former Kauffman Fellow, with a PhD in virtual reality game design. She is also a professor at NYU Game Center.

Latoya Peterson
Chief Experience Officer

A digital and television veteran focused on leveraging emerging technologies for media brands like Disney and ESPN. She was one of Forbes Magazine's 30 Under 30 rising stars in media and is known for the award winning blog

Tara Mustapha
Chief Design Officer

A seasoned producer and game designer who has shipped over 10 titles in 15 years. She has worked with Backbone Entertainment, Microsoft and EA on titles like the Skate series and Monster Lab.

Ethan Redd
Art Director & Feature Designer

Through his studio Virtuoso Neomedia, Ethan is a talented multimedia designer/artist, who leads the bold and high quality visual aesthetic of the game as well as tech art & design.

Dr. Enongo Lumumba-Kasongo
Audio Director

aka Sammus, a rap artist and producer with a PhD in science and technology studies from Cornell University. She is a postdoctoral fellow at Brown, and a well-known underground MC with a following in the videogame community known for her lyrics about black feminism.

Sela Davis
Lead Engineer

Previously at Vreal, WG Cells (Wargaming) and Xbox (Microsoft), Sela has a breadth of experience across both client and server, in console, VR, and mobile. She is also Co-Director for the IGDA Foundation Velocity scholarship.

Connor Carson
Programming & Narrative Intern

Connor is a gameplay programmer and narrative designer based in Brooklyn. She is currently a second-year MFA student at the NYU Game Center.

Geneva Heyward
Gameplay Programming Intern

Geneva Heyward is a student at NYU's Game Center with a passion for drawing and programming. They have created over ten games, including Solar Spout, Green Hero, and Skate and Date.
